Zebra Knows that Mental Health is Important

We believe that when employees feel good, they can do their best work and are empowered to succeed.

Employee Assistance Program

This free, confidential resource supports employees and their family members with personal problems, planning for life events, or managing daily life. Get resources and support for parenting, relationships, addiction, healthy habits, money management, and more.

Time Off

Zebra recognizes that time away from work is essential for individual wellbeing. Nonexempt employees begin earning paid time off (PTO) on the first day of employment and can take PTO immediately with supervisor approval. Exempt employees may take flexible time off (FTO) as needed and can take FTO immediately with supervisor approval.

Holidays

Zebra observes nine paid holidays each year. Some of these days are determined by the company and others may be floating holidays.

Other Time Away From Work

Zebra offers other paid and unpaid time away from work to help employees balance their personal and work life. Leaves include military, jury duty, bereavement, and personal leaves of absence.

zDays for Work Life Balance

Zebra understands that as the pace of global business has accelerated, it can be difficult to fully unplug from work. Zebra schedules one zDay each year for all employees to take the day off and focus on themselves without the stress of meetings or emails.

Flex Fridays

Flex Fridays are another way Zebra supports employee mental health by allowing eligible employees to unplug from work early on Fridays when workloads and roles allow. Flex Fridays run from Memorial Day to Labor Day each year.

Focus Fridays

Focus Fridays are designed to create “white space” on calendars across the company by not scheduling meetings after 12 p.m. local time on Fridays so employees can focus on completing tasks for the week. Focus Fridays begin the Friday after Labor Day and run through Memorial Day.
